Meet The Team

Owner of Champion Property Inspection – has been inspecting homes since 2015 and has completed over 1,500 inspections.  Stephen is a Certified Master Inspector, Certified Professional Inspector through InterNACHI, ASHI peer-reviewed inspector, and former ASHI certified inspector.  Stephen is also a local investor in our community, with multiple rental properties.  Stephen is a multi-tour combat veteran and served in the US Army as a Cavalry Scout.

Stephen holds the following Licenses: Home Inspector, Wood Destroying Insect, Radon, Sewer Scoping education, and Mold Education.

Noah is an Indiana State Certified Home Inspector, Commercial Certified Property Inspector. He has a background as a commercial electrician and previously owned a handyman business based out of Omaha, NE. He has received the designation of  Certified Professional Inspector through InterNACHI, IA2 Certified Air Quality Consultant with Mold education designation, and Wood Destroying Insect Certified Inspector, with more to follow. When not on the job, Noah enjoys grilling out and spending time with his family and friends.

Aaron Mauck is a Certified Professional Inspector specializing in environmental services. He is licensed in Radon Measurement and Wood Destroying Organisms and holds certification in Indoor Air Quality. With experience in well-water testing, Aaron is also licensed for Lead-based Paint and Asbestos Inspections. He earned his BS in Mechanical Engineering from Purdue University in 1999.

With years of experience as a Licensed General Contractor and Home Builder, Austin Denning brings unmatched expertise to every inspection. As a Certified Master Inspector with a strong background in Building Science, he knows how homes are built and where problems can hide—from pre-drywall evaluations to complex structural concerns. His knowledge is trusted not only by homeowners but also in legal settings, where he has been called on to provide expert witness testimony. Jake McGaugh is a Certified Professional Inspector, dedicated to delivering thorough and reliable home inspections. Jamie Espenlaub has started with Champion Property Inspection in May of 2024 as our part-time marketing person.  She currently is the Executive Director for Jacob’s Village and a lot of her background stems from non-profit work.  Jamie and her husband Nathan stay busy following their two girls, from soccer and basketball to theatre rehearsals and choir concerts.  What Jamie says she loves most about working at Champion is the true servant leadership that backs the mission.
